Please donate whatever you can afford. Together we have a stronger voice and can make the trustees uncomfortable about what they are doing to all our families.
In 2020 a some of the committee stumped up $500 each to pay for a valuer’s advice (Seagars) on our proposal for improving the leases that we submitted to the Cornwall Park Trust Board.
Donations help pay for the work to raise the profile of the plight that leaseholders are in with our leases becoming unaffordable and the Cornwall Park Trust Board refusing to discuss options to improve them.
The Committee’s efforts have been effective, eg, the back stop offer being offered for the first time. Before this, as a result of meeting with committee members the Board made some concessions to the lease renewals offering 3% for the first 7 years, 4 % for second and so on. There is a lot still to happen with the Parliamentary petition, media, fliers and billboards.
